“Oliver” had his first plane trip 3 weeks ago and has had his nose and ears on the ground ever since. Trainer, Jon Richey has agreed to kennel and train the pup until he is fully deployable in tracking. Friends for S.L. County K9 will then donate the dog to the S.L. County K9 Unit to support County deployments. Oliver will be the County’s first tracking hound. Oliver is showing strong tracking skills at a young age and promises to be a great asset to the future of K9 support throughout S.L. County.
